Heart Qi Soup

Drains dampness

1lb (2 cups) chicken heart (organic)-coarsely chopped
¼ lb (1/2 cup) liver (organic ONLY, cow or chicken)
3 Carrots-sliced
3 Celery stalks-sliced
2 fresh garlic gloves-whole
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp Gou Qi Zi (Lycium fruit)
1 inch square piece Dang gui (Angelica root)
4 qt. pot filled with spring water

Celery helps drain dampness.
Japanese Dang Gui=blood tonic.
Can add in Chen Pi if desired

Mix all ingredients together in crock pot. Boil for 20 minutes, then lower heat and let simmer for several hours. Mix well and serve warm.
