Tracey graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Lakeland College in 1998. She has worked with various animals including Dairy and Beef cattle, horses and various diversified livestock including White Tailed Deer and Elk. She joined the Bow Bottom team in 2001 as a Registered Animal Health Technologist. Tracey completed both Levels of AAHA’s Veterinary Management School in Golden, Colorado in 2007. She continues to love to learn! She is a past Executive Board of Director for the AAAHT (Alberta Animal Health Technologist Association) She enjoys to help promote the industry, and aid in public education. She is also sitting on the ABVMA (Alberta Veterinary Medical Association) PIPS committee (Practice inspection and Practice Standards) this committee helps to regulate the industry by ensuring operational standards are met within Alberta Veterinary Hospitals and Clinics. She is passionate about this committee viewing it as important not only for industry advancements but most importantly the protection of pet owners and clients. Tracey was honoured to be named 2013 Alberta Animal Health Technologist of the year by the ABVMA.. She is in charge of helping direct hospital developments and improvements, marketing and social media, human resources, accounting and budgeting, and client satisfaction. An excellent problem solver, Tracey is always ready to perfect client service and patient care! Tracey loves to visit with all clients and their pets. On her time off she can be found (or not found) traveling, camping, playing ringette, doing yoga or cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
